Voix féminines dans autoportrait en vert de Marie Ndiaye : l’au-delà au féminin / au-delà du féminin

Laurence Gouaux

Resumo

In one of his latest novels published in 2005, Autoportrait en vert, the French woman writer Marie Ndiaye, of Senegalese origin, takes the reader on the southwest of France on the banks of the Garonne, river-snake and feminine all at once, in a universe where realism, wonderful and mysticism mingle. In this Ouroboros-novel which makes a loop around itself (the novel begins and ends in December 2003) the reader dives into the heart of the moment and its multiple analepses. This story allows the reader to discover the presence near the Garonne, of women in green, old « wandering souls » physically returned to life to put the living spirituality to the test and question the tripartite dimension body- soul - spirit. Therefore, it is the originality of Marie NDiaye’s voice and writing that this article will try to highlight.
