Âmbito

Revelar, subtitled «journal of studies on photography and image», is an annual publication from the domain of Art History, issued by the Faculty of Arts of Porto University.
It aims to promote and disseminate research work in the field of photographic studies, analysis and interpretation of the image; to foment unplublished historical sources; to discuss methodologies and present critical reviews on notable works.
This publication targets the scientific community conducting investigation on projects of this nature, in order to stir up multidisciplinary exchange of views, through the publication of innovative research of national and international scholars, whith a relevant background, curriculum vitae and/or academic liaision.

All articles validated by the Editorial Team will be submitted to a system of peer review strictly confidential. In case of need, a second advisor will be consulted. According to the final evaluation, the Editorial Team may determine the authors acceptance of the suggestions proposed by the scientific advisors and may also decline the text.

This jornal provides all its content in free and open access, following and supporting actively the principle of universal access to knowledge, pledging to its democratization.

 

Arquivamento

This magazine uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed file system between participating libraries and allows them to create permanent journal files for preservation and restoration. Know more...
